4 Runner Ball Joint Failure. Too many of these running around without that failure. The way that Toyota designed them on these trucks is just stupid.
The lower ball joints are NOT a part that you want to cut corners with. A ball joint is essentially a flexible ball and socket that allows the suspension to move and, at the same time, the wheels to steer. How long are the ball joints supposed to last?
Out with old and in with new.
In the meantime, does this sound like a ball joint failure?
Reddit gives you the best of the internet in one place. The way that Toyota designed them on these trucks is just stupid. Too many of these running around without that failure.
